A Chronicle of Higher Education special issue, Diverse: Issues in Higher Education, March 15, 2012, includes mention of research led by Jan Graetz, to assess stress and time-management skills utilized by students with Asperger's syndrome. The study found that although about half the students surveyed said they didn’t meet with friends, socially, or participate in off-campus activities, they do utilize the Disability Support Center. The article including Graetz's research focused on support services for university students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Jan Graetz is an associate professor of Human Development & Child Studies in the School of Education and Human Services.
