Transfer students with a minimum of 24 college credits at the time of
application, and a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 will be considered for
admission to Oakland University. OU also will consider positive trends
of most recent grades. It is important that you request official
transcripts be sent from each college or school you have attended to:
101 North Foundation Hall
2200 N. Squirrel Road
Rochester, MI 48309-4401
Transfer students with fewer than 24 college credits at the time of
application must also submit a high school transcript, and admission
will be based on both college and high school records. We encourage
students to apply online at oakland.edu/apply.
There is no fee associated with our application.
The Office of the Registrar will provide you with a transfer credit
evaluation (TCE). This evaluation is automatically done when
you are admitted to Oakland.

As a transfer student, another option for you would be to
attend a Transfer Student Open House, where you can get an
immediate response to your application, receive an unofficial
transfer credit evaluation, talk with an admissions adviser,
and learn about Transfer Student Orientation. Please visit
for more information and to register for an upcoming event.
