Discount tickets available for fiddler Natalie MacMaster
The Detroit Symphony Orchestra is offering the Oakland University campus community discounted tickets for renowned Cape Breton fiddler Natalie MacMaster's Friday, March 13, performance at Orchestra Hall.
Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day 2015, this concert will feature polkas, reels, jigs and a lot of fiddling. Audience members are invited to come dressed in their favorite green attire.
The concert will begin at 8 p.m. and the DSO will accompany MacMaster under the direction of Michelle Merrill.
While regular ticket prices for the show range between $68 and $38, Oakland University students, faculty, staff and family and friends can purchase tickets for $25 or $15. The offer is available online only and no phone orders will be accepted. The deadline for ticket purchases is 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 12. It does not apply to previously purchased tickets. The offer may be discontinued at any time based on ticket availability.
To order tickets, visit dso.org, click on March 13 in the performance calendar and click on “Buy Tickets.” Enter the promo code “FIDDLE” and click on “Apply.” Then select seats, ensure the applied ticket price is correct and check out.
