Look What We've Been Up To!

You know what they say: A picture is worth a thousand words. Our students and alumni are dedicated performers, and when they're not performing, they are honing their skills with hard work and diligence. Take a look at just a few of the things they've been doing in the past few months, then check out our online calendar and join us for our upcoming events!

The first photo features alumni Andrew Dettloff (on the floor) and Vivian Costello (foreground) with faculty member Thayer Jonutz. Andrew and Vivian will travel to Seoul, South Korea this August with Take Root's co-directors Thayer and Ali Woerner, who have been invited to perform and teach at the Gwang Jin Summer International Dance Festival. The pictured dance is entitled  "Still. Life."  Photo by Sam Paraventi of Minty Photography.  Choreography by Ali Woerner and Thayer Jonutz, co-artistic directors and co-founders of Take Root.  Costumes by Christa Koerner and costume design students at OU.  For other photo captions see the bottom of the page.
