Campus vigil scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday honors the life of Cody Petzold

There will be a campus vigil held on Thursday, Jan. 8 at 6 p.m. in Banquet Room B at the Oakland Center to honor the life of Cody Petzold, an Oakland University student killed in a motor vehicle accident over the holiday break.

Students attending the vigil will be invited to speak and share their memories of Cody. In addition, Brittany Hall from the Student Program Board leadership team will sing one of Cody’s favorite songs from the musical “Wicked.” Other organizational speakers are also planned from CMI, OUSC, GSA and University Housing.
