OU Project Management course open for registration

The Project Management Principles and Best Practices Certificate Program is a registered education provider with the Project Management Institute and has one broad objective: to advance participant’s knowledge of Project Management principles and best practices. This course is designed for experienced professionals as well as those preparing for the working world, helping them to become leading edge project managers. Course content will focus on PMI's 10 knowledge management areas (Project Integration, Scope, Human Resource, Time, Cost, Quality, Risk, Communications, Stakeholder, and Procurement Management), PMI’s five Process Groups (Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Control, and Closing), the establishment of a comprehensive baseline project plan, use of best practices (practical and theoretical), and an examination and use of a wide variety of specific project tools.

Who Should Attend?: Anyone responsible for completing projects/assignments on time and under budget while meeting customer requirements, those interested in learning the core knowledge tested on the Project Management Institute's certification exams (PMP® and CAPM®), and people interested in advancing their knowledge of Project Management.
