Dawn Aubry appointed OU's interim Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs and Director of Admissions

Effective Nov. 3, Dawn Aubry will assume the role of interim Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs and Director of Admissions at Oakland University.

Aubry has been at Oakland since 1998, serving first as Assistant Director for New Student Programs, then as the Director of New Student Programs in 2000, before being promoted to Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions in 2004.

With more than 20 years of progressive experience in higher education, Aubry has a reputation for being a collaborative and adaptable leader. She has a proven track record of success, especially in developing and implementing new enrollment initiatives, engaging faculty, students and alumni in the recruitment process, and leading a team of experienced admissions professionals.

Aubry received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Oakland University, her Master of Education in Higher Education Administration & College Student Personnel from Kent State University, and is currently a doctoral student in the Education Leadership program at Oakland.

Aubry replaces Eleanor Reynolds, who is retiring after serving the University in various roles for more than three decades.

Aubry assumes her new role November 3 upon the retirement of Eleanor Reynolds.
