Area phone services affected by high call volumes

As of Tuesday morning, Sept. 3, area telephone services are experiencing extremely high call volumes. Combined with telecom network problems being reported out of state, this is resulting in some callers receiving busy signals or "All circuits are busy" messages.

The University's telecom services provider is aware of the problem and is working to resolve it as quickly as possible.

The patience and understanding of the University community and those attempting to contact OU are greatly appreciated. Updates on the situation will be provided as soon as they become available.
