June 2014 Newsletter: Client News: "Wave Aircraft Progresses as a Result of Competition Wins"

Wave Aircraft™ Inc placed as a top 20 finalist at the MiQuest emerging business plan competition finals.

“As a startup, we have our business plan and product taking notice in every competition we entered. Placing in the top 20 in the Emerging Company category reinforces that we are on the right path with our business model,” Perry DiClemente, CEO/Founder of Wave Aircraft™ Inc, says.

Previously, Wave Aircraft™ took third place in the New Business Ideas Category at the 2014 Great Lakes Entrepreneur Quest, second place for New Invention at the 2013 Michigan Inventors’ Coalition, and first place in the Advanced Transportation and Mobility category, winning a $25K prize at the 2013 Accelerate Michigan Innovation Competition.

As a result of these wins, Wave Aircraft™ has filed a patent, applied for a trademark and created a website. They are in the process of completing their Seaworthy Unmanned Air Vehicle (SUAV) to demonstrate their evolutionary aircraft concept. The SUAV is a 12-percent remote-control flying scale model of the WAVE A6 aircraft, the company’s main product.

Wave Aircraft™ Inc is developing the WAVE A6, the next evolution in high-performance aircraft that can save time and money by reaching more destinations faster. For additional information on this project, visit waveaircraft.com or contact perry.diclemente@waveaircraft.com.
