LSI Business Development (LSI) is a nationwide government-contract consulting firm with a strategic Michigan location within the Macomb-OU INCubator. LSI specializes in positioning companies to win new business with the government at the federal, state, and local level. By focusing on improving client’s government business-development processes, LSI creates a customized approach to support each client in increasing win rates and decreasing business-development costs. They provide strategy and market intelligence, capture management, proposal development, and support for program execution.
LSI boasts an 85 percent win rate for clients, which include some of the world’s best organizations: Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Raytheon, General Dynamics, L-3 and Northrop Grumman. LSI helps their large business clients secure billions of government contract dollars each year. Additionally, LSI specializes in assisting small- and medium-sized businesses successfully do business with the government. Last year, LSI assisted its clients in winning over $200 billion in new business with an estimated 1.5 million new jobs created in the United States.
LSI’s Michigan location has allowed a strong partnership to develop with the Macomb-OU INCubator. This partnership now includes specialized trainings for Mac-OU INC clients, as well as entrepreneurs and small-business owners across the State of Michigan.
A prime example of this is the LSI trainings specific to the Michigan Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Matching Funds Program (MD.MFP) on “Understanding and Navigating DARPA Research & Development: A Michigan Sponsored Workshop.” The next all-day training is scheduled for Wed, May 28, at the M-TEC SmartZone in Houghton, MI.
