Arts@OU: Oakland Symphony Performance at Orchestra Hall
The full majesty of Orchestra Hall will provide a fitting backdrop to the Oakland Symphony Orchestra's final concert of the season on Wednesday, April 16 at 8 p.m. In collaboration with the Oakland Symphony Chorus and Measure for Measure Men's Choral Society, the OSO will perform Symphonic Fantasy on Die Fraue ohne Schatten, Trv 234a by Richard Strauss; and Carmina Burana by Carl Orff.
A special reception for Oakland University alumni and friends will begin at 6 p.m. in the Frankel Donor Lounge and will include appetizers and drinks, as well as brief remarks by conductors Greg Cunningham and Mike Mitchell.
The cost is $15 per person and includes admission to the reception as well as a ticket to the performance. Click here to register. Pending availability, the deadline to register is Wednesday, April 9.
