CBR Festival, Monday, March 24, 2-3:30, Heritage Room, OC

The Center for Biomedical Research Festival will be held Monday, March 24, from 2:00-3:30 in the Heritage Room of the OC. Undergraduate and graduate students will be presenting posters about their biomedical research. This would be an ideal opportunity to learn more about biomedical research at Oakland. The poster topics include vision and the retina, the biomechanics of cardiac tissue, embryonic stem cells, computational evolutionary biology, alzheimer's disease, cataracts in the lens of the eye, breast cancer, antibiotic resistant bacteria, diabetes, and others. Also, FREE FOOD.

The Sigma Xi annual lecture will be held following the festival, in Gold Room A at 4:00.
