Human Health Day coming March 29

One of many activities at Human Health Day
Oakland University's Human Health Day 2014 will be held on Saturday, March 29. The event will provide future health professionals with important information on academic opportunities with the School of Nursing and the School of Health Sciences.

“Human Health Day is a great opportunity for people to get a feel for the types of academic programs and resources Oakland University offers students,” said Dawn Aubry Slowik, Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions.

Human Heath Day participants will be provided a tour of Oakland University’s new Human Health Building and the opportunity to chat with faculty and staff. They can also learn about undergraduate research opportunities, scholarships and admissions requirements.

“Our faculty members have a passion for sharing their expertise and knowledge with students,” Slowik said. “And, the brand new Human Health Building houses both academic units and provides students hands on training experience in real-world scenarios.”

Registration is required to attend Human Health Day on Saturday, March 29, from 9 a.m. to noon. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Banquet Rooms of the Oakland Center. Reserve a spot today online or by calling 800-OAK-UNIV.
