Enter the 2014 Ekphrasis Poetry Contest. Deadline 3/17 by 5:00 p.m.

Announcing the 2014 Ekphrasis Poetry Contest for the best poem about a piece of art (painting, sculpture, carving, photography, folk art). All entries must be received by 5 p.m. on Monday, March 17.

The grand prize award for student entries is $200, 2nd place is $100, and 3rd place is $50.

Three additional prizes of $50 each will also be awarded to faculty, staff members, or alumni.

Presentations will be made at the Annual Poetry Bash at Oakland University, April 15, 5:30 pm, Oakland Center Gold Rooms B/C.

Winners will be invited to read their award winning poems, and all entrants are invited to come and celebrate great poetry!
