OU closed Monday, Jan. 6, due to inclement weather
In response to the winter storm presently moving through the Midwest, Oakland University officials have announced closure of the campus on Monday, Jan. 6.
The closure becomes effective at 12 a.m. and will continue through 5 a.m. on Tuesday.
All scheduled classes and special events are canceled. All university offices are closed (including the Rec Center and bookstore), and extension center classes will not be held. The University Libraries will also be closed, reopening at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
Residence halls -- including the Vandenberg cafeteria -- will still be open for students who live on campus and would like to move in. Students moving into the residence halls can pick up keys in 448 Hamlin between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Students moving into the apartments can pick up keys in the 4000 building of the Ann V. Nicholson Apartments between 8-10 a.m. and 12:30-5 p.m.
