  Mallory Brown
Founder, World Clothes Line
Presents her Fireside Chat

Tuesday, October 29, 2013
4 until 6 p.m.

World Clothes Line is an apparel company with a philanthropic mission. We match every item purchased with a new item for someone in need. You buy. We give. Together, we clothe the world.

Mallory Brown is a creative entrepreneur who finds her greatest sense of self while traveling.

In 2010, as a 24-year-old social entrepreneur, she found World Clothes Line, an apparel company with a "Buy 1, Give 1" mission. In its three years of business, World Clothes Line has personally clothed the homeless in Detroit, MI, a refugee camp in Peru, an impoverished island in Indonesia, schoolchildren in Israel, and four orphanages in Africa.

Originally from Farmington Hills, MI, Mallory has a BA in Economics & Management and French from Albion College. Mallory has been recognized by Crain's Detroit Business "20 in their 20s," Albion College "Top 10 in 10 Alumni", WJR's "Breaking the Cycle," and Huffington Post's "Greatest Person of the Day" for pioneering a business model that allows for-profit companies to embrace a philanthropic mission.

This event is free; however, registration is required.
