Fireside Chats are designed to be interactive and educational for emerging entrepreneurs on the trials and tribulations of creating a successful business. During each session, a successful entrepreneur will discuss challenges, solutions and successes; they will tell their story!
In 2010, as a 24-year-old social entrepreneur, she found World Clothes Line, an apparel company with a "Buy 1, Give 1" mission. In its three years of business, World Clothes Line has personally clothed the homeless in Detroit, MI, a refugee camp in Peru, an impoverished island in Indonesia, schoolchildren in Israel, and four orphanages in Africa. Originally from Farmington Hills, MI, Mallory has a BA in Economics & Management and French from Albion College. Mallory has been recognized by Crain's Detroit Business "20 in their 20s," Albion College "Top 10 in 10 Alumni", WJR's "Breaking the Cycle," and Huffington Post's "Greatest Person of the Day" for pioneering a business model that allows for-profit companies to embrace a philanthropic mission.
