20th Anniversary Leonard Woodcock Legacy Seminar comes to Oakland University
On Thursday, November 7, 2013, Oakland University will host the 20th Anniversary Ambassador Leonard Woodcock Seminar & Legacy Dinner at Meadow Brook Hall.
Ambassador Michael W. Michalak and Consul General Zhao Weiping will highlight seminar presentations. The Legacy Dinner will honor Ambassador Leonard Woodcock and recognize Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson's long term support for China initiatives.
We are working closely with leading organizations to promote and enhance cross-cultural exchanges between Michigan and China.
The seminar is presented in partnership with: Automation Alley, DCBA, Detroit Regional Chamber and the MEDC.
Support for this program has been generously provided by: The School of Engineering and Computer Science at Oakland University, Automation Alley and Butzel Long.
The seminar, which is free and open to the public, begins at 1pm. Speakers representing education, government, business & NGO's will present discussions on the region's growing economic and educational relationships with China.
A reception will follow. Reservations are requested.
The Woodcock Legacy Dinner is at 6pm. Reservations are required.
