Overflow parking made available for OU Football Club home debut
The Oakland University Football Club will host its first
home game ever against Columbus State University starting at 4 p.m. on
Saturday, Oct. 5.
Set at the Auburn Hill Civic Center Park just west of
campus, the event is expected to draw hundreds of enthusiastic Golden Grizzlies
supporters.
As parking is limited within Civic Center Park, the Oakland
University and Auburn Hills police departments are recommending that fans
utilize overflow parking being made available in the university’s P37-Temporary
lot located on the south side of Pioneer Drive near Squirrel Road and the
P41-Temporary lot located on the West side of Meadow Brook Road near Pioneer
Drive.
The OUPD and AHPD will be in the area to monitor vehicle and
pedestrian traffic on Squirrel Road between Pioneer Drive and Cross Creek
Parkway.
Both admission and parking to this milestone event are free.
