CBR member Brad Roth gets NIH subcontract for numerical simulations of cardiac tissue

CBR member Brad Roth, of the Department of Physics, has obtained a subcontract to a grant from the National Institutes of Health. The project, titled Optimal Design of Challenge-Response Experiments in Cardiac Electrophysiology is through the Vanderbilt University Medical Center (Matthew Shotwell, PI). The OU subcontract is for $76k in the first year, and will last four years. Biomedical Sciences: Medical Physics graduate student Sunil Kandel will perform numerical simulations of cardiac electrophysiology in support of this research program.
