OUPD assisting Sheriff's Office in armed robbery investigation

The Oakland University Police Department is assisting the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office in the investigation of an armed robbery that occurred at the CVS Pharmacy at the corner of Walton Blvd. and Adams Road in Rochester Hills at 12:45 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013.

The suspect – described as a white male from 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall and in his early to mid 30s – stole several pharmaceuticals and fled the scene. Police later recovered the weapon used in the robbery.

The OUPD stresses that the incident did not take place on university property and that there is no imminent threat to campus life.
