Campus outdoor loudspeaker system to be tested July 25
From 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, July 25, the Oakland University Police Department will conduct tests of the university’s outdoor loudspeaker warning system.
The tests, to be conducted from the P-35 and P-37 parking lots on the southwest corner of campus, will include both verbal alerts and audible siren warnings.
Police are advising members of the campus community that these are tests only and that there is no cause for concern.
