Hollie L. Lepley Hall of Honor welcomes business alum this year

Oakland University inducted business school alum Viggo Anthonsen into the Hollie L. Lepley Hall of Honor earlier this year. Anthonsen was one of four OU alums honored.

The induction recognized Anthonsen, a former Oakland University men’s soccer standout, for his outstanding on-the-field achievements during his career at OU. As a two-time captain, he led his team to both an NCAA runner-up finish in 1996 , as well as the program’s first ever Mid-Continent Conference championship in 2000. He also was named to the Mid-Continent Conferences All-Region and All-Conference teams twice.

The 2001 economics major is employed at EVRY ASA, a Norwegian-based information technology company located in Oslo, Norway. Anthonsen also volunteers with his local sports club, Kjelsas IL, where he is one of the club’s sporting directors.
