Dean Harper launches new book

Honors College Dean, Dr Graeme Harper, was pleased to launch his new book, "Making Up" (2013), while visiting colleagues out-of-state recently. 

The book explores an African war through the eyes of a political prisoner, and combines both critical and creative explorations. 

"'Making Up' was first thought about while I was researching a while ago in North Africa," said Dr Harper. "Since then I've worked on it as I've traveled around the world until, recently, it found its final shape. The book reflects a journey in many ways. I'm thrilled to see it launched now as we set forth into such exciting new developments for The Honors College here at Oakland."
