April 2013 Newsletter: Visit Michigan DARPA Online
The Michigan Strategic Fund (MSF) via the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) selected the Macomb-Oakland University INCubator (Mac-OU INC) to administer the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Federal Matching Program for the entire State of Michigan. The primary objective of the program is to increase the amount of federally sponsored (DARPA) research and development funding that comes into Michigan. The Michigan DARPA Matching Funds Program (MD.MFP) has been fully launched with the implementation of the website, meant to be used as the main interface for potential applicants.
Please visit michigandarpa.org for more information on all things DARPA including what DARPA is; why Michigan supports DARPA activity; and the three project initiatives that will be accomplished with grant funding, including education and training, challenge funding support and the matching funds program.
