Spotlight: Advicoach (February 2013 Newsletter)

Mac-OU INC would like to welcome one of the new Executives-in-Residence (EIR) for 2013, AdviCoach of Michigan. The AdviCoach mission is to support all clients and partners in creating better futures for themselves and their employees by helping them deal with the challenges of building an effective and sustainable business. Their advisors are out in the community working with business owners and leaders to increase profits, build high-performing teams and execute on solid strategies for growth.

Kathryn Baker, owner of AdviCoach of Michigan, stated, “We’re excited about utilizing the outstanding facilities at the Macomb-OU INCubator as we expand our services to include a new group coaching program, additional free educational offerings and a larger team. We are also proud to support the clients of the Macomb-OU INCubator as part of the Executives-in-Residence Program.”

The Executives-in-Residence program at the Macomb-OU INCubator, a new initiative for 2013, supports incubator clients with free services and consultation. More specifically, clients will benefit collaboratively from 16 hours of free consultation per month from these EIRs, as well as from additional discounts if further engagements are required. Residents were strategically selected with legal, accounting and business consulting expertise because their fields are highly used and needed by businesses. An EIR with a defense background was also added to the mix to help early-stage companies navigate the complex defense industry.

AdviCoach is one of the largest and fastest growing business coaching organizations in the United States. They encourage small businesses to take advantage of their upcoming seminars, workshops, webinars and other forums held at Mac-OU INC.

Upcoming events include the "Small Business Forum," held on the second Thursday of each month in 2013. These sessions, free to Mac-OU INC clients, examine what businesses should do different this year, as opposed the last year, to produce better results. The "1% Vision, 99% Alignment" seminar on March 21 discusses aligning your small business to speak a common language with a unique one-page strategic plan. On April 12, at "Are You Building a Sellable Business?," entrepreneurs will discover everything they need to know about increasing value for their business and creating options for the future. To register for these events, or for more information, please contact Kathryn Baker at  (248) 613-1496 and visit the Advicoach of MIchigan website.
