P-16 to close for homecoming's Student Body Tailgate Party
Oakland University's campus is gearing up for the annual Homecoming Celebration scheduled for Friday, Jan. 25, and Saturday, Jan. 26, which includes the annual OU Student Body Tailgate Party located in the P-16 parking lot.
To accommodate the event, the P-16 parking lot will be completely closed from 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24, through noon on Monday, Jan. 28. There will be no parking for OU students, faculty, staff, and guests at that time.
Additionally, the P-18 parking lot, adjacent to the P-16 parking lot, will not be available for parking. Parking for the physically challenged will be available in the P-17 parking lot. Additional parking will be available in the P-11 parking lot.
Bear Bus shuttles will operate from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday. For more information about the Bear Bus and its route, view the website at oakland.edu/bearbus.
The entire OU community is invited to attend the OUSC Tailgate Party from 1-4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, along with all homecoming festivities for the weekend. For a complete schedule of OU Homecoming events, view the website at oakland.edu/comehome.
