In this Lunch and Launch, Bernard Fuhs, an attorney with the law firm of Butzel Long, will conduct a presentation regarding a company's most valuable assets, including trade secrets, confidential information and business relationships.
More specifically, this presentation explores how failing to proactively and properly protect these assets negatively impacts your business, especially for startups and entrepreneurs,, and the steps you can take to protect these assets and remedy any misappropriation of them.
Bernard Fuhs concentrates his practice in the areas of business and commercial litigation, with significant experience in non-compete and trade secret disputes. He has successfully litigated and counseled clients on non-compete and trade secret matters in all 50 states. He is a frequent speaker on non-compete and trade secret issues, and has authored and contributed to many publications, national and local, regarding the same.
Mr. Fuhs was recently named to Crain's Detroit Business' 2012 Class of "40 under 40," which honors "the best and brightest in Southeast Michigan who have made their marks in business before age 40." Mr. Fuhs was also selected as a 2012 Business Litigation Top Lawyer by DBusiness Magazine and named to the 2011 and 2012 Michigan Super Lawyers' Rising Star Lists.
