ISSO event to celebrate holiday traditions from around the world

All Oakland University students, faculty and staff are invited to celebrate the holiday season as seen from across the world during a spirited event hosted by the International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO).

The annual Multicultural Holiday Celebration will take place from 4-6:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, in the Oakland Center Banquet Rooms. Festivities include live holiday performances by OU students, American and international holiday fare, as well as holiday games and crafts.

This year’s celebration is supported by the ISSO, Center for Multicultural Initiatives, African Student Association, French Club, German Club, Hispanic American Leadership Organization, International Allies Organization, Jewish Student Organization and Student Activities Funding Board.

The holiday celebration is free and open to all. For more information, view the website or contact the ISSO at (248) 370-3358 or visit the office in 157 North Foundation Hall.
The ISSO will explore traditions from around the world with its annual Multicultural Holiday Celebration on Friday, Dec. 7.
