Campus to hold revised hours for Thanksgiving Recess

Thanksgiving recess for the university begins at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21. Classes will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 26.

The residence halls will close at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21, and remained closed until 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 25. Vandenberg Dinning center will close at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21, and re-open at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 25. 

The Oakland Center will close at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21, and will remain closed Thursday through Saturday. It will resume normal hours on Sunday, Nov. 25.

Kresge Library will close at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21, and will remain closed Thursday and Friday. It will reopen on Saturday, Nov. 24, from 8 a.m. to midnight and will resume its normal 24-hour schedule starting at 8 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 25.

OU’s Recreation Center will close at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21. The Aquatic Center will be open from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6-7:30 p.m. Both facilities will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 22. From Friday, Nov. 23, through Saturday, Nov. 24., the Recreation Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the Aquatic Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. On Sunday, Nov. 25, the Recreation Center will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the Aquatic Center will be open from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Normal operational hours will resume on Monday, Nov. 26.
