Annual Make a Difference Day to promote community service

Oakland University students, faculty, staff and alumni are welcome to join the 22nd annual all-day service event, Make a Difference Day (MADD) on Saturday, Oct. 27. 

This event is the largest national day of service in the U.S.A. Volunteer opportunities will be offered in the City of Detroit, the City of Pontiac, and on Oakland University’s campus. 

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. between North and South foundation halls. Service takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Volunteers should wear comfortable and weather appropriate clothing that can get dirty and also bring a pair of work gloves if possible. All volunteers will be provided with a T-shirt and lunch.
