What do you like best (or miss most) about your hometown?The feeling of community – I grew up in a small town where everyone knew everyone.
If you could be invisible for one day, what would you do?Take a long walk, wandering wherever, to see what is going on. I would wear my most comfortable clothes, do silly arm exercises while I’m walking and sing out loud – really belt it out!
What is your favorite part of your day?Definitely enjoying a morning cup of coffee while catching up on the news.
Do you give to other charities beyond OU? Which ones and why?I give to a variety of charities and most frequently those involving aid to families and children. I always give to children who are selling items on behalf of an organization - Girl Scout Cookies, Boy Scout Popcorn, Morley Candy, you name it. I just can’t say no and I know that it takes a lot of courage to ask.
What or who inspires you to give to AUFD?Our students. Almost every fund impacts our students either directly or indirectly.
