Students in the summer workshop in advanced multimedia course flew more than 40,000 miles in two months to meet their challenge – produce 55 packages about OU alumni.
The challenge wasn't merely met, it was exceeded. By the time the class ended in August, there were 62 profiles waiting for publication.
Besides researching, interviewing, reporting and producing, students also developed an interactive iPad magazine application to showcase the projects. The app is expected to be available on the Apple App store by the end of the year.
Sixty-two multimedia packages about OU alumni were generated by 11 Com&Jrn students in a special topics class sponsored and funded by Dr. Gary Russi.
