Upcoming seminar to focus on long-term health care options
The Office of Planned Giving will be hosting an informational lunchtime seminar for faculty, staff, alumni and friends of Oakland University to discuss long-term health care options. The seminar will cover what long term care means and how to plan for it while healthy.
Dennis D. Richardson is the managing director of DDR Wealth Advisors. His presentation will include information on how long-term care insurance may provide choices and control over the care an individual receives. Richardson will also discuss how to protect assets, and how to preserve independence and a comfortable standard of living when long-term care is required.
This informative seminar will include lunch. The event is set for noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 9, in the Oakland Center, Gold Room C. Seating is limited, so reservations are required. RSVP by Tuesday, Oct. 2, to Laura Musachio at musachi2@oakland.edu or (248)364- 6117.
