OU invites area performance art lovers to indulge themselves after work

The Department of Music, Theatre and Dance at Oakland University is proud to announce the second season of its popular Thursday Arts-After-Work performances.

This engaging series of diverse and professional-quality productions invites all area performing arts lovers to spend time in the inspiring company of faculty and student musicians, actors and dancers.

Arts-After-Work features roughly hour-long performances starting at 6 p.m., which allows attendees to avoid rush hour traffic and enjoy their evenings feeling refreshed and uplifted. What's more, tickets for all series performances are "Pay What You Wish," with a minimum contribution of $1.

To once again kick off the Arts-After-Work season, the highly acclaimed OU Jazz Faculty will present a dynamic array of compositions in a Thursday, Sept. 20, concert that promises to have listeners tapping their feet and marveling at the sounds they're hearing. Following this performance will be must-see events featuring opera, musical theatre, world music, dance and more. To see the full season line-up, visit oakland.edu/artsafterwork.
