Lunch & Learn to focus on estate planning, set for Sept. 24

The Office of Planned Giving will be hosting a Lunch & Learn event for faculty, staff, alumni and friends of Oakland University at the Anton/Frankel Center in Mount Clemens. The seminar, "Ten Estate Planning Mistakes," will focus on the most costly missteps that well-meaning people make when it comes to planning their estate.

Presenter Christopher J. Berry is a partner with Witzke Berry Carter & Wander PLLC in Bloomfield Hills, and focuses on estate planning and elder law. He will discuss how to protect assets, how to prepare for long term care, and the benefits of using a trust in estate plans.

This informative seminar will include lunch. The event is set for noon to 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 24, in room 125 of the Oakland University Anton/Frankel Center, located at 20 South Main Street in Mount Clemens. Seating is limited, so reservations are required. RSVP to Laura Musachio at musachi2@oakland.edu or (248)364-6117.
