NASA to visit The Honors College

Representatives from NASA will visit The Honors College at Oakland University in Fall - to speak to the HC 100 "Making Discoveries" Freshman Colloquium.

Dr Harper, Director of The Honors College, is thrilled to confirm the visit.

"This is a unique opportunity for Freshmen at Oakland University. Not only will we talk about exploration and exploring our world and worlds beyond, but we'll talk about how we can each contribute to making the seemingly impossible become possible! That is very much what the space program has been about, in my view. Can you imagine, even just 100 years ago, looking up at The Moon and saying 'I'm going to fly there'? Absolutely amazing! It proves all things are possible when we apply our minds and our imaginations to doing things. I very much look forward to welcoming NASA to our Freshmen class."
