Brunch and Learn seminar focuses on how to settle an estate

The Office of Planned Giving is set to host an informational morning seminar for faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the university, focusing on achieving peace and harmony when settling an estate.

This seminar will help address some common issues that give rise to problems when settling an estate and specific advice on how to reduce points of contention.

Robert Kass is a partner at Barris, Sott, Denn & Driker in Detroit with more than 30 years of experience in estate planning. His presentation will discuss problems that repeatedly arise while settling an estate, how to avoid them when planning one's estate, and how to work through points of contention when settling the estate of someone who did not address these issues.

This informative seminar will include brunch. The event is set for 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25, in the Oakland Center, Gold Room. Seating is limited, so reservations are required. Click here to register.
