New Lean course - ISE 581: Lean Principles & Application
Engineers: Get Lean at Oakland University! Oakland University’s Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) Department, in conjunction with the Pawley Lean Institute, is offering a course on Lean Principles and Application. ISE 581: Lean Principles & Application will be offered this fall for any engineers seeking to broaden their knowledge and skills in Lean concepts and their application. Taught by a Lean expert with years of industrial experience, the course will cover Lean theory, rules and principles, concepts, tools and supporting systems from the perspective of an engineer. No prior knowledge in Lean is required to enroll.
This evening course is scheduled from Sept. 4—Dec. 15, 2012. It will be held on Oakland University's main campus in Rochester, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30—9:17 p.m.
This professional development opportunity is available to any engineer, as well as to students in the ISE Department's graduate degree and certificate programs.
