Remarks to alumni and friends at the OUAA Grizzly Gala

There is nothing I can do or say to express what a difference scholarships can make in a student’s life, but let me start with feelings of relief and gratitude.

I will graduate this month from Oakland debt free. This is all because of scholarships from people like you who care about students like me.

Every donation counts when we are talking about the dreams of the next generation.”
