The Oakland University Alumni Association (OUAA) plans to gather its alumni for two events this summer: the OUAA Golf Challenge and OU Night at Comerica Park.
The OUAA connects Oakland alumni to their alma mater, and also provides services and benefits such as career support, networking activities, volunteer programs, and events to enhance involvement with OU after graduation.
Also, alumni can have an impact on current students through donations to the scholarship support programs, advocacy, and mentoring. To date, the OUAA has awarded more than $1 million in scholarship support.

OUAA Golf Challenge
The OUAA Golf challenge is set for Monday, July 16, at the R&S Sharf Golf course. Play will begin and end at the Stephen Sharf Club house. The day begins at 11:30 a.m.
Participants who register for this event on or before Thursday, June 21, will receive a discounted early-bird rate of $175 per person. Those registering after that date will pay the regular rate of $200. The cost includes 18 holes on R&S Sharf Golf Course, a boxed lunch, admission to the afterglow reception, and a player gift.
Additionally, proceeds from the outing support the OUAA Scholarship Program for current students and returning alumni.
The final day to register for the Golf Challenge is Tuesday, July 3.

OU Night at Comerica Park
The Oakland University Alumni Association will welcome alumni and friends to the 8th annual OU Night at Comerica Park.
This year’s event will be held Wednesday, August 22, when the Tigers will take on the Blue Jays. The evening begins with an all-you-can-eat buffet at 5:30 p.m. inside Comerica Park. The game begins at 7:05 p.m.
Admission to this event costs $35 per person. Prices include the ticket and buffet. Furthermore, participants can reserve a spot on a charter bus transporting attendees to and from the game for an additional $10.
The registration deadline for this event is Wednesday, July 25.
