The Office of Planned Giving will host an informational evening seminar for alumni focusing on the financial transition to retirement. Upon retirement, individuals generally move from accumulating retirement savings to drawing down on their savings for income. Come learn how to formulate strategies to help build a sufficient and lasting retirement income stream!
Michael Fisher Jennings, a local financial consultant, will discuss how social security, Medicare and long-term care impact the ever-changing retirement environment. He will also provide important information on building a lasting and sufficient retirement income stream.
Join us for dinner and this informative seminar on Tuesday, May 29th, from 5:30-7 p.m. in the Oakland Recreational Center, Pioneer Room. Seating is limited, so reservations are required. RSVP by May 24th to Angie Schmucker at schmucke@oakland.edu or (248)364-6129.
