Facilities Management to tackle campus improvement projects In the coming months, Oakland University’s Facilities Management has a full slate of campus improvement projects planned.
Summer 2012 priority projects for include:
A new three-story clubhouse at OU’s Katke-Cousins Golf Course thanks to a generous donation from longtime university benefactor Stephan Sharf.
Repairs to roads, parking lots and sidewalks around campus.
Expanded parking in lots P-1 and P-32. More than 130 new spaces will be added.
Department of Health Sciences and School of Nursing moved to the new Human Health Building.
Enhancements to Wilson Hall’s east entrance.
Fire safety upgrades in the Recreation Center, Oakland Center and Kresge Library.
Mechanical projects in Dodge Hall, Varner Hall, North Foundation Hall, Pawley Hall, Elliott Hall, Hannah Hall, Kresge Library and Shotwell-Gustafson Pavilion.
Renovations in John Dodge House.
Curtain wall replacement and mechanical work in O’ Dowd Hall.
Replacement of Bear Lake fountains and main entrance sign.
