OUAA Golf Challenge right around the corner
Gather your foursome and register now for the Oakland University Alumni Association Golf Challenge! Join fellow alumni and friends on Monday, July 16 for a great day of golf benefiting the OUAA Scholarship program. Lunch will begin at noon with a 1 p.m. shotgun start on the R&S Sharf Golf Course.
Proceeds from the outing support the OUAA Scholarship program for current students and returning alumni. To date, the OUAA has awarded more than $1 million in scholarship support. Sponsorship opportunities are available, including hole, cart, lunch and player gift sponsors.
Participants who register on or before June 21 will receive the early-bird rate of $175 per player. Registrations received after June 21 pay the regular rate of $200. The registration deadline for all golfers is July 3. Cost includes 18 holes on the R&S Sharf Golf Course, boxed lunch, afterglow reception and player gift. A portion of the fee is a tax deductible donation to the OUAA Scholarship program.

OU Night at Comerica Park returns for its eighth year
Join fellow alumni and friends for the 8th annual OU night at Comerica Park! The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with an all-you-can-eat food buffet on Party Deck 1. Next, cheer on the Detroit Tigers as they face the Toronto Blue Jays at 7:05 p.m. Lower level seats for this year are fantastic!
Ticket prices are $35 per person and include the food buffet and game ticket. Limited tickets are available, so register now. Registration deadline is Wednesday, July 25th, 2012.
Based on the success of last year, we are bringing back the “OUAA Ballpark Bus!” For just $10 per person (in addition to your ticket), you can forget the hassle of parking downtown and enjoy air-conditioned luxury with Wi-Fi and an on-board restroom as the "OUAA Ballpark Bus" transports you to and from the game. The bus will depart from a designated parking lot on OU's campus at 4 p.m. on game day. Seating is limited.
