OU community invited to celebrate "Cuatro de Mayo" event on May 4
The Oakland University community is invited to join friends and co-workers to celebrate Cinqo de Mayo a day early, at a special “Cuatro de Mayo” event from noon to 1 p.m. at the Oakland Center Patio on Friday, May 4.
The event will feature a live Mariachi band, prizes and giveaways, and inspired Mexican fare such as chips and salsa, chicken fajita kabobs, and a cinquo punch.
Sponsored by the Women Employees Resource Group (WERG), the event is free and open to all Oakland employees. In the event of rain, the Cuatro de Mayo party will be located in the Oakland Center’s Lake Superior Room A and B.
