OU co-sponsoring symposium on modeling, simulations and visualization
The Oakland University Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering is co-sponsoring an Automation Alley Education and Workforce Committee symposium titled “The Voice of Business: Modeling, Simulation and Visualization”
The event, set for Thursday, April 26, will feature an industry panel discussion featuring representatives from local businesses discussing MSV employment needs, opportunities and training. In addition, small breakout sessions will allow attendees to speak directly with business representatives in a personal question and answer format.
Higher education professionals, state and local education professionals, education and training facilitators, industrial and military trainers, and consultants are encouraged to extend their knowledge of the need for MSV, the current state of MSV and emerging trends, and practical workplace applications of MSV in the workplace, as well as to take advantage of collaboration and peer networking opportunities.
The event will take place at the Velocity Collaboration Center, located at 6633 18 Mile Road in Sterling Heights, Mich. To learn more, visit the event website.
