Evgeniy Khain named a KITP scholar

Assistant Professor of Physics and CBR member Evgeniy Khain has been selected as a KITP Scholar for 2012-2014. The Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics (KITP) established this competitive award to bring outstanding researchers to Santa Barbara to perform collaborative research.

Khain will be participating in the KITP program on the Physics and Mathematics of Cancer this summer. This program will focus on physical models of tumor initiation, progression, and metastasis. Theoretical physicists will collaborate with molecular biologists and oncologists.
Assistant Professor Evgeniy Khain, of the Department of Physics, has been named a KITP scholar.
