CBR/Sigma Xi Research Festival, April 4, 2-4 pm, 204 O'Dowd Hall

The CBR/Sigma Xi Research Festival will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2-4 pm, just before the Sigma Xi Annual Lecture, in the hallway outside 204 O'Dowd Hall. All are welcome to attend and learn more about biomedical research at OU.

OU faculty and students should consider contributing a poster about their research. The goals of the poster session are 1) to showcase biomedical research at OU, 2) to foster collaborations between faculty from different departments and schools, and 3) to introduce students to current biomedical research at OU. To encourage student posters, Sigma Xi and the CBR are sponsoring a poster contest. Prizes will be given out for the best posters.  Let Brad Roth (roth@oakland.edu) know if you plan to present a poster. Posters without advance reservations will be accepted first come/first served as long as there is space. Light refreshments will be served.

The Annual Sigma Xi Guest Lecture will follow the research festival at 4:00 pm . Dr. Ananias Diokno, M.D., Executive Vice President & Chief Medical Officer of Beaumont Hospital will give a lecture entitled, “A Career Beyond Your Dreams”. The lecture is open to the public, and all are welcome.
