OU athletes lead Summit League with academic honorees

Oakland University led all of the Summit League schools by placing a total of 62 student-athletes on the Summit League Fall Academic All-League Team. A total of 517 athletes across the league earned the distinction, which is awarded to students who post a 3.0 or better grade point average during their semester of competition.

Oakland also had 25 student-athletes earn the Distinguished Scholar accolades, a special recognition for students posting a GPA of 3.6 or above.
