Applications for spring graduation accepted through Jan. 27
For students who expect to graduate in April or June 2012, the deadline to apply for graduation is Friday, Jan. 27.
The applications for both undergraduate and graduate students are available online. Once an application is submitted, an audit will be conducted and approval will be obtained by the appropriate academic unit. For questions regarding a degree application or diploma call 248-370-3460.
For all graduation needs, degree candidates are encouraged to attend the spring 2012 Graduation Fair on Monday, March 5, and Tuesday, March 6, in the OU Bookstore, located on the lower level of the Oakland Center.
Students can stop by the Academic Affairs table for their commencement confirmation and pick up guest tickets. Guest tickets are required and are only available at the Graduation Fair. Students also can purchase graduation regalia, announcements, class rings, diploma frames and more. For more information, visit the Graduation Fair website.
Commencement exercises for April and June degree candidates will take place on Saturday, April 28, at Baldwin Pavilion, on the Meadow Brook Music Festival grounds.
Those eligible to receive university honors (GPA 3.6 and above) and/or school, departmental or conciliar honors will receive their honor cords to wear during the ceremony at the registration table when they receive their name card on the day of the ceremony.
