The Oakland University Pawley Lean Institute is currently offering scholarships at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. These scholarships are open to students with knowledge of Lean principles and practices.

The Dennis and Carlotta Pawley Endowed Graduate Student Lean Award is given to encourage the continued study of Lean knowledge, research and practices by graduate students.
This award is valued at up to $1,000. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 is required to qualify for this scholarship.
The Dennis and Carlotta Pawley Endowed Undergraduate Student Lean Award honors those who demonstrate interdisciplinary principles and concepts underlying Lean thinking and leadership through the use of Lean skills, which may include work in the classroom, internships and independent study.
The scholarship is awarded at $1,000. Students with a minimum GPA of 3.0 may apply for this award.
Students wishing to apply for either of these scholarships must turn in their applications to the Pawley Lean Institute by June 1, 2012. These scholarships are nonrenewable, but students may reapply each year.
